There's definitely an endless supply of X-mas lights around now! Here are the ones on my front door. Don't they look neat? The phone camera gave them that reddish glow.

I'm Alive!
After a million years' hiatus, I'm back in the game! I have a smartphone now, so there's no excuses for me to not post. I'll celebrate with this rose I captured on my new phone!

Whale Wars
This is my tribute to the Animal Planet series Whale Wars, which I'm currently watching. I used the most relevant photograph I have and edited in the whale, since I don't have any of actual whales.
I believe in what they fight for and appreciate their painful efforts to stop whaling.

Gradient mapped the photograph and hand-drew the whale (I'll probably touch up the whale soon, I just put it together on a whim), then used a GIMP tool to create the abstract designs. Arranged layers accordingly.
(This is actually Tybee Island in Georgia, near Savannah. It's a beautiful, clean beach.)
